PCI Jovie Espenido EXPOSED by a friend

(by: Belle Zip_MNZ)

Who is PCI Espenido up close and personal?

A close friend of PCI Jovie Espenido in Leyte with the initials of RDA divulged these bits and pieces of information about him. Sir Espenido hopes to keep these personal info under wraps because for him, it’s not something to brag about, but according to RDA, informing the public who really Sir Jovie is up close is the least he can do for a friend and a brother who, despite risking his life with genuine intentions in the name of justice, is bombarded with ridicule and false accusations by the skeptics.

 He is...

Sir Jovie’s petrifying epithets as “drug buster”,  “crime buster”, “narco-politicians’ worst fears” are misnomers of his real life. In reality, he is just a simple person living a humble but principled life. How humble his lifestyle is? Let me tell you. The only accessory in his house in Leyte was a 14’ tube TV which, by the time of writing, had long been disposed for acting up.  Their dining table can accommodate only four causing one of the five members in the family to literally stand (at times) during meal time or jam five seats around. Their receiving room is barely 4 meters wide. His favorite ride is his outdated ‘dunot nga XRM’ and he has an L300 van that not even his friends would dare drive and ride ‘kay kagang-kagang na’. It wasn’t even his. Someone gave up a faulty L300 van, another person tried to overhaul it and entrusted it to Sir Jovie to be used around the town of Isabel. The Espenidos have a ‘sari-sari store’ with meager goods, and sometimes goes almost empty. As a strict vegetarian, ‘adobong kangkong’, ‘sinabawang gulay’ at ‘bigas na mais’ are heaven for him.  Sounds unbelievable? Go visit his house in Leyte incognito, and his family’s modest lifestyle will amaze you.

He was...
In Leyte and Samar, he is popularly known as the ‘supercop’. Despite his impressive track records since 1996, he remained PO1 for 12 years. That long, he garnered 83 commendation awards. There was even a time when he was all-dressed to receive another honor just to know that it was cancelled and given to another person instead. Why? The narco-politicians and notoriously influential figures themselves lodged protests against his promotion and awards yet, no trace of grievance from him. It was even his colleagues who complained in and on his behalf. His commendation honors include the arrest of the wanted Kumander Mojado (robbery gang leader), Doroteo Molobolo (private armed group leader) among others. His unrelenting faithfulness to duty earned him both friends and foes and it paved the way to purging the area under his jurisdiction from illegal gambling, ‘sabong’, drinking alcohol and unacceptable noise at night. Even then as a PO1, he caused two high-ranking officials to be expelled. Under his watch, 2 mayors were detained and 3 mayors perished (Calbayog, Albuera, Ozamis), to name a few. Walang sinasanto! Walang kinakatakutan! In Samar, he was dubbed as ‘Alyas Pogi’ by his cohorts (based on Bong Revilla’s movie) because he would go around at night disguised as a commoner trying to uphold the peace in town. His goal to neutralize the situation in his assignment is set for a period of 1 to 3 months. The efficacious eradication of four private armed groups in Samar of which he was the team leader, gave him the spot promotion. Whenever he receives a monetary award, he evenly distributes it to his team. Mabuting kaibigan, masamang kaaway ika nga. And to those who know him personally, his sense of humor exceeds that stern aura his face is portraying. Watch his interviews, only true Bisdaks can grasp his subtle punchlines.

His secret...
This man has no fear except for one, that is GOD. His daily routine demonstrates his faithfulness in God. His office is decorated but ONLY the inscription of the TEN COMMANDMENTS. He is not just a police officer but an active Bible evangelist. He leads the daily morning devotional in his office accompanied by other officers and he observes the Sabbath from sunset to sunset. Included in his observance of the Sabbath are attending church services and fasting the whole day. The only time he holds his cellphone on a Sabbath day is that part in the morning when he sends to many a Sabbath greeting and some Bible texts.  In fact, one of the sanctions he gives to petty and common law crimes instead of fines (e.g. driving without a helmet, no vehicle registration plates) is memorizing the ten commandments. He believes that through this simple act, people will learn to be more morally responsible and become better law-abiding citizens. He also believes that involvement in illegal drugs is one of the roots of the evils in the society. That is his pet peeve. Whenever he has a major police operation that poses great risks for his and his men’s lives, he goes fasting for several days, reads his Bible and sneaks to the church at night and asks for the divine guidance for a couple of hours in the dark.

Even before President Duterte assumed his office, then-Mayor Digong, ‘Bato’ and Sen. Lacson have already known him and the kind of policeman Sir Jovie Espenido is. To the hecklers of PCI Espenido, whatever insults and lies you hurl at him, you can’t put a faithful policeman down. To the likes of Nova Parojinog, you’re dead wrong about bribing this man. Here is "a man who can’t be bought or sold; a man who in his inmost soul is true and honest; a man who does not fear to call sin by its right name; a man whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole; a man WHO WILL STAND FOR THE RIGHT THOUGH THE HEAVENS FALL."

To Sir Jovie and your men, the only ammunition and protection we can offer you are our earnest prayers. Thank you for reviving the once-lost faith the Filipinos have for our policemen. From us Filipinos in and outside the country who greatly believe in you, our snappiest salute to all of you! Mabuhay po kayo! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!

P.S.

“ - RDA

  5. To quote PRRD, our country no longer need more laws but few good men. Just like our President and the PNP Chief, We need these kind of people for our country to progress. Espenido is a rare bred, a man whose joy and strength comes from his fear of the Lord. Our prayers for their protection.

  10. SALVATION CAME THROUGH JESUS ON THE CROSS, AND CONFIRMED BY THE APOSTLES:

    JESUS SPOKE ON EVERLASTING LIFE:

Jesus said "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that HEARETH my word, and BELIEVETH on him that sent me, HATH EVERLASTING LIFE, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life" (John 5:24 KJV) (No mention of Keeping the sabbath or any laws for Everlasting Life)

Jesus speaking " And THIS IS THE WILL OF HIM THAT SENT ME, that every one which seeth the Son, and BELIEVETH on him, MAY HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE: and I will raise him up at the last day" (John 6:40 KJV) (No mention of keeping the Ten or Sabbath for everlasting life)

Jesus said unto her, "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that BELIEVETH in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and BELIEVETH in me SHALL NEVER DIE. Believest thou THIS" ? (John 11:25-26 KJV) (No mention of keeping the sabbath or any laws for the THIS)

Jesus praying openly to his Father: "And this is LIFE ETERNAL, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent" (John 17:3 KJV) (No mention of keeping the sabbath or any laws for eternal life)

After he was Resurrected Jesus said "..Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that REPENTANCE and REMISSION OF SINS SHOULD BE PREACHED IN HIS NAME among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. (Luke 24:46-47) (No mention of keeping the sabbath or any laws for the remission of sins)

PAUL WROTE ABOUT SALVATION (to the church at Corinth):
Paul received this directly from Christ 1Corinthians 15:1-4: "Moreover, brethren, I DECLARE UNTO YOU THE GOSPEL which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are SAVED, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS according to the scriptures; And that he WAS BURIED, and that he ROSE AGAIN the third day according to the scriptures" (No mention of keeping any laws to be Saved.).

And in 1 Corinthians 1:17-18 "For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. For the PREACHING OF THE CROSS is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are SAVED it is the power of God". (No mention of keeping the sabbath or any laws to be Saved)

PAUL WROTE ABOUT SALVATION (to the church in Rome):
Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto SALVATION TO EVERYONE THAT BELIEVETH". (No mention of keeping the sabbath or any laws for salvation)
Romans 5:9-10 "Much more then, being now JUSTIFIED BY HIS BLOOD, we shall be SAVED from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be SAVED by his life". (No mention of keeping the sabbath or any laws in order to be saved)
Romans 5:21 "That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto ETERNAL LIFE BY JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD" (No mention of keeping the sabbath or any laws for eternal life)

PAUL WROTE ABOUT SALVATION (to the church in Ephesus)
Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye SAVED through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast" - (No mention of keeping the Sabbath or commandments in order to be Saved)
Ls for Everlasting Life or Salvation)

    2. That is the very reason why I lost my faith in Christianity. . . you know why . . because the so called Christians are defying the will of His God the father by justifying everything in accordance to his own will... Remember your God the father is observing His Law.. Christ himself also sit an example by obeying the will of HIS God the father,,, Then who are you Christian ??? and also do not forget the Lord your GOD christian said " if you love me keep my commandments .. .TWISTED

    3. No one is arguing here that SDAs are saved by WORKS...Salvation is always by grace through faith (that is not dead).
